Shalo 3 V and T

Direct

Shalo – with a depth of 2.75″ – provides a uniform luminous appearance without LED pixelation. Choose from Shalo V with a V-shaped optic (VLO) or Shalo T with a trapezoid-shaped optic. The integrated driver and cartridge-mounted LED arrays, using micro-structure optics, make Shalo practical as well as attractive.

Shalo fits a variety of grid ceilings with main runners nominally 4″ on center, including TECHZONE™, and can be installed as discrete luminaires, continuous runs of uninterrupted light, or patterns.

VLO

Both the Vee-Shaped Lambertian Optic (VLO) and Trapezoid-Shaped Lambertian Optic (TLO) consist of side-mounted LED arrays coupled to an optical-grade acrylic light guide engraved with micro-structured optics that extract light into a Lambertian distribution. An upper reflector of 98% reflective, diffuse aluminum enhances system efficiency. A thin diffuser below the light guide provides additional source obscuration.

Patterns

Level corners are used for patterns on a single plane (ceiling or wall). Inside corners are used for patterns that cross into two planes (ceiling-to-wall or wall-to-wall).

Shallow Housing

The Shalo housing is just 1.75″ deep and sits entirely within the height of most ceiling grids. The lens sits flush with both flat and tegular ceiling panels. A total plenum depth of at least 5″ is recommended for installation.

Shalo-Ceiling-Integration

Ceiling Integration

Shalo fits a variety of grid ceilings, including Armstrong TECHZONE™ and USG ceilings, as discrete luminaires or continuous runs of uninterrupted light. T-bar spacing is 4″ for 9/16″ runners and 4 3/8″ for 15/16″ runners. Shalo also installs in drywall ceilings and vertically in walls. A 6″ long joiner bracket aligns Shalo modules for continuous runs. The lens sits flush with both flat and tegular ceiling tiles.

Shalo is compatible with ceiling runners 4″ on center.
