Cura

Direct/Indirect

Cura offers multifunctional lighting with ambient, exam, reading, and night-light illumination from the bedhead. Each lighting function can meet the illuminance recommendations of ANSI/IES RP-29-16. Optional BIOS SkyBlue™ technology provides a biologically optimized light spectrum that supports both circadian stimulus and visual diagnosis. Cura’s compact and durable form, combined with multiple light sources and control options, makes this luminaire particularly well suited to today’s healthcare patient rooms. Cura is also available with Chromawerx DUO and SOLA capabilities.

LED arrays provide consistent illumination across available color temperatures from 2700K to 5000K. Standard 80+ CRI with optional 90+ CRI, including enhanced red rendering. Color consistency maintained within 3 SDCM.

Dim to Warm (Sola)
Dim to Warm (Sola)

Single-channel dim-to-warm control adjusts color temperature as light levels decrease. Transitions from 3500K to 2200K.

Tunable White (Duo)
Tunable White (Duo)

Two-channel tunable white control allows adjustment of color temperature across a defined range to support varying lighting requirements throughout the day.

Full-Spectrum
Full-Spectrum

Full-spectrum LED arrays provide broad spectral distribution for enhanced color rendition and material clarity.

Optics
HLO

High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) is engineered with reflective sidewalls that distribute LED output across the acrylic shielding. To accommodate the curves of Lumenwerx rounded fixtures, the HLO is equipped with proprietary SupremeGrip™ technology, which keeps the optic securely in place.

Durability

With no visible light source, LEDs are concealed within Cura, delivering the low glare associated with high-quality bedside lighting. This design maintains comfortable, practical illumination from head to toe.
