Direct

Rize offers multifunction lighting with ambient, exam, and reading illumination from a pair of recessed luminaires. The pair of Rize luminaires operates in a master-and-satellite configuration. Each lighting function can satisfy the illuminance recommendations of ANSI-IES RP29-16. Optional BIOS SkyBlue™ technology provides a biologically optimized light spectrum that supports both circadian stimulus and visual diagnosis. The compact and durable construction, combined with multiple light sources and control options, makes Rize particularly well suited to today’s healthcare patient rooms. Rize is also available with Chromawerx DUO and SOLA capabilities.

Light Source

Dim to Warm (Sola)

Single-channel dim-to-warm control adjusts color temperature as light levels decrease. Transitions from 3500K to 2200K.

Tunable White (Duo)

Two-channel tunable white control allows adjustment of color temperature across a defined range to support varying lighting requirements throughout the day.

Full-Spectrum

Full-spectrum LED arrays provide broad spectral distribution for enhanced color rendition and material clarity.

Optics

HLO

High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO) is engineered with reflective sidewalls that distribute LED output across the acrylic shielding. To accommodate the curves of Lumenwerx rounded fixtures, the HLO is equipped with proprietary SupremeGrip™ technology, which keeps the optic securely in place.

Durability

With no visible light source, LEDs are hidden inside Cura, offering the low glare associated with high-quality bedside lighting. Maintain a comfortable, practical light from head to toe.

Exam HO

Exam HO mode provides asymmetric, direct lighting on patients. The luminaire meets RP-29-16 with an average illuminance of 107 fc on the bed.

Exam

Exam mode provides direct lighting with optimal illumination for healthcare providers to perform precise tasks.

Ambient

Ambient mode delivers comfortable, widespread illumination with an average illuminance of 40 fc for routine monitoring and daytime activities. Dimmable for nighttime observation.

Reading

Reading mode is facilitated via an optional low-glare 32 fc reading light. Hyflex™ optics with fixed orientation provide a 30° beam angle.

Durability

Simple installation. Fits easily in a variety of T-bar, drywall trimmed or trimless applications
Shallow plenum solution. Recesses into the ceiling to suit low plenum space as the luminaire is only 3 inches in height.
Smooth surfaces with antimicrobial finish, allowing for gentle cleaning.
Durable construction. Rugged extruded aluminum construction with up to three light compartments to allow excellent performance without compromising quality.
