A Lumenwerx designed lighting strategy is on the menu at a pair of glittering Tampa nightspots.
At Water Street Tampa, two distinct dining experiences, Ash and Alter Ego, come to vibrant life through an intricately designed approach to lighting. Working in close collaboration with KPK Lighting Design and Gin Design Group, the Lumenwerx team developed a glitzy yet functional strategy to add an additional layer of light and energy to these inspiring interiors.
At Ash, a light-filled, Italian-inspired restaurant, lighting enhances the space’s soft, flowing, organic architectural language. Integrated seamlessly into the design, our Ecana 3 Downlight round recessed fixtures provide adjustable illumination, delivering precise light to key elements such as bar shelving. With their adjustable optics, these give the design team the flexibility to direct focused light from a minimalist housing.
Next door at Alter Ego, a moody, monochromatic cocktail lounge, the approach shifts to emphasize contrast and intimacy. Here, Aera 2 Downlight round recessed fixtures introduce controlled, directional illumination that highlights the lounge’s metallic finishes and textured surfaces. Thanks to their refined beam control and discreet form, these fixtures help create the kind of visual intrigue one expects in a dusky, upscale cocktail bar.
