Lumenwerx teams up with BKV Group and Two Fourths Studio to light up Barstool Sports’ new corporate HQ.

Located in Chicago’s trendy Fulton Market District, Barstool Sports’ corporate head office is a workspace like no other. Envisioned by the client and architects as a 33,000-square-foot “fun factory”, the space features podcast and broadcast studios, bar areas, offices, a commercial kitchen and even a full-sized basketball court, spread over two stories of historic loft space.

One thing that was clear from the start of the project, was the important role light would play in shaping Barstool’s energetic culture, on-camera. Everything from podcasts to YouTube shows and social media clips would be filmed inside the space, meaning every angle would need to be camera-ready, at all times. Lumenwerx was brought on to ensure lighting was up to the task, choosing our Via 4 luminaires as the MVP.

With their power, precision and style, Via 4 luminaires deliver visual comfort and flexibility across the wildly diverse spaces under the Barstool roof. From one end to another, the clean lines of Via 4 complement the industrial character of the loft space, while providing superior light quality, and low-glare performance.

The completed space truly captures the essence of the Barstool brand. The office is dynamic and modern, balanced by an old-school collegiate vibe. More than a place to work, it’s an environment that encourages creativity, connection, and impromptu games of 3-on-3 basketball. Barstool Sports is a shining example of how illumination can do more than just brighten a room, by helping to shape space where brand culture can thrive.
