A San Francisco corporate office with a world class view gets a one-of-a kind lighting plan thanks to Lumenwerx.
At the gorgeous offices of investment bank PJT Partners, lighting provides an inviting, upscale atmosphere, while complementing the space’s abundant daylight and incredible views. Located on the 27th floor of the iconic Steuart Tower at San Francisco’s One Market Plaza, the office offers sweeping vistas of San Francisco Bay—views as enviable as they come. As such, the lighting plan we developed in conjunction with Lighting Systems was conceived to enhance, rather than overpower, this defining feature.
Central to our approach was the use of Via Perimeter 3” recessed luminaires. Integrated throughout open areas, including the welcoming reception space, they create a subtle architectural framework that helps delineate space while guiding movement and flow. Designed as a perimeter slot of ambient light, the fixtures deliver soft, even illumination with low glare, a key consideration given the office’s polished stone floor.
Thanks to its minimal profile, Via reinforces the sleek, refined aesthetic throughout the space without competing with the views or overpowering daylight. Complementing this ambient layer of illumination, Rim Shapes oval fixtures introduce more focused lighting along with a sculptural element overhead. These support task-oriented needs in key areas while adding a subtle layer of visual interest.
Together, these two collections create a lighting strategy defined by a precise balance. Illumination elevates the workplace with both performance and restraint, while seamlessly integrating with the surrounding environment and its stunning views.
