Lumenwerx partners with Whitney Architects to shine a light on creativity and collaboration in a busy financial services office.
Designed by Whitney Architects, the new FORTH® office in Schaumburg, Illinois is an exercise in collaboration, flexibility and creative energy. FORTH®, a leader in debt resolution technology, builds on these three qualities to find innovative solutions to client challenges. Lumenwerx was mandated to develop a layered lighting strategy that brings these qualities to life and supports all the ways employees will use the space.
In a modern workplace that includes everything from agile workstations to private offices, conference rooms, huddle spaces and a café, a custom lighting strategy is essential. For FORTH® we developed a system that would incorporate a range of luminaires from our Curvia XYZ, Via 2, Via 3, and Cluster Parabolic product lines.
In open areas, Curvia XYZ Pattern fixtures deliver refined curvilinear lines for a sense of movement and visual interest. In workspaces, Via 2 recessed and pendant luminaires offer flexible, low-glare illumination, while Via Perimeter fixtures produce continuous light at the wall/ceiling intersection, defining the architectural space. Finally, Cluster Parabolic pendants provide comfortable downlighting with crisp visual texture and a pleasing beam distribution.
Together, these various luminaire styles layer together to create a cohesive and upbeat approach to light and space. They support the variety of work modes and environments within the office, and contribute to a workplace that thrives on collaboration, productivity and creative approaches to client services—just like we do.
